The Curious Case of the Disappearing Invoices
Let’s kick things off with a real humdinger of a tale. One of our beloved clients, Joe, was puzzled to find that all his invoices seemed to have disappeared into the ether. Was it a glitch in the Matrix? An invoice Bermuda Triangle? Joe was one email away from donning a tinfoil hat and declaring an accounting apocalypse.
That’s when we stepped in. After a quick investigation, we found that Joe had accidentally filtered his invoices by the year 1823. Once we set the filter to the present year, voila! His invoices reappeared, and the tinfoil hat was promptly retired.
Lesson Learned: Always double-check your filters, folks! They can either save you or lead you down a rabbit hole of 19th-century bookkeeping. 🐇

Last but not least is Cathy, who one day found that her QBO account showed her as a multi-millionaire! Excited but skeptical, she called us to confirm her newfound fortune. Turns out, she had accidentally added a few extra zeros to a recent income entry. While the prospect of instant millionaire status was thrilling, the reality check was much appreciated.
